I made a series of posters which derive from my layman’s interest in architecture, showing some of my favourite buildings. The Magnificent set features buildings I was in awe of growing up, such as Manchester Town Hall. Modern highlights heroic architecture from post-war Britain (plus the Arndale Centre, which isn’t that heroic, described by the modernist as an ‘impenetrable lump’). This set includes Balfron Tower—Ernö Goldfinger’s concrete cliff-face in Poplar (the younger sister of Trellick Tower)—and Great Arthur House on the Golden Lane Estate. These are simple renderings of personal favourites, often drawn as the architect imagined them rather than in their final built form.

The posters are beautifully printed to order on fine art paper, and available to buy in two standed frame sizes: 50x40cm (Magnificent only) and 70x50cm. If you’re interested, just drop me a line.
